The Parish Council currently operates three Committees, each having the power and responsibility over specific aspects of its work. All committees meet as required with a minimum of one meeting a year. Notice of meetings of the Community Hall / Car Park Committees are posted on this site or on the parish notice boards.
Community Hall Management Committee
Pinewood Community Hall is owned and managed by the Parish Council and this committee is responsible for all decisions pertaining to its maintenance and the how it is run.

Car Park Committee
The car park for Pinewood Community Hall is shared with Shepherd Drive Baptist Church (SDBC) and so this committee is comprised of members of the general council, the Community Hall Management Committee and Shepherd Drive Baptist Church. Their remit is to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the car park.

Human Resources Committee
Responsible for recruitment, salary reviews, individual staff matters and grievances, the HR Committee manages the paid staff that are employed by the Parish Council. As such its proceedings are confidential: its agendas and minutes are not published and are exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
